There
are many kinds of technologies for improvement in view angle of TFT-LCD such
as TN mode,
VA (Vertical Alignment), IPS (In-Plane Switching) and Super IPS, etc. Among
them, the Super IPS
developed by LG.Philips LCD is most efficient in improving view angle, it is
possible up to more than
170 degree. The concept of IPS is that liquid crystal is twisted in parallel
with LCD glass, so the loss
of view angle caused by phase difference is minimized. The Super IPS divid domian
into two parts for
reduction of color shift.
