The resolution means total quantity of the pixel (R,G,B sub-pixel or dot) that is composed the LCD panel.
For example, 1024 x 768 XGA means that the LCD is composed by horizontally 1,024 pixels (3,072
sub-pixels) and vertically 768 pixels.
The class of resolution is QVGA, VGA, SVGA, XGA, and UXGA defined by international standard,
and SVGA+, Wide Type by LCD makers.
